PISA The Programme for International Student Assessment is an internationally standardised assessment that was jointly developed by participating countries and administered to 15-year-olds in schools.

Education at a Glance: the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development's annual publication of statistics describing educational attainment; spending; participation in education; and school factors such as class sizes and teacher salaries. It is widely respected and quoted. The book covers all 30 OECD states, and also has some limited information on other major countries such as China, India and Brazil. Click to find out more.
